Apply to be a Research Assistant in the Lydon Lab

Thank you for your interest in a position as a Research Assistant (RA) in the Lydon Lab. The Lydon Lab hires RAs through the Work Study program on campus, usually in the early fall each school year. We rely on RAs to help to make research run smoothly in the lab. Tasks include recruiting and scheduling participants, entering and proofing data, keeping the lab organized and in tip-top shape (e.g., filing, labeling, moving boxes and performing computer maintenance), and helping the grad students and lab coordinator as needed (e.g., performing literature searches or running errands). Sometimes RAs will also run studies, though usually undergraduate thesis and graduate students run their own studies. A background in psychology is strongly preferred; some research experience and bilingualism are assets.

If you would like to apply to work as an RA in our lab, please e-mail a cover letter, CV, and unofficial transcript (as PDF or DOC format) to the lab coordinator at  Please include your student ID number in your email for the purpose of verification of your Work Study status.
